Overview
The l.a.m. swivel chair is a collaboration between Bernhardt Design with the Barcelona design firm Lievore Altherr Molina. This chair was created by exploring the notion that a chair should serve as an interface between architecture and the human body. Dignified and contemporary, the interior of l.a.m. is a soft, curved form, more human in design, while the refined and gently faceted exterior creates a dialog within an environment without dominating the space. The organic seat juxtaposed with the angular back makes l.a.m. an engaging chair when viewed from any perspective.
l.a.m. is available with select upholstery choices. The base is offered in a black matte finish and integrates a gas lift cylinder with a tilt mechanism for added personalization.
